Non-discrimination
All the rights of the convention apply to all children equally whatever their race, gender,religion, disability, opinion or family background.

The Views of Children
Children have the right to express their own opinions and to meet together to express their views. What they say and feel must be listened to carefully and taken into account when making decisions which affect their lives. (Article 12)
Civil and Politicle Rights
Children have the right to associate with others through joining organisations/clubs, to take part in meetings ,demonstrations so long as they do not affect the rights of others. (Article 15)
Access to information
Children have a right to receive a wide range of information,especially any which would make their lives better for them. (Article 17)
Rights to Life
Children have a right to life and to the best possible chance to develope fully. (Article 6)
Leisure
Every child is entitled to rest, play and to have the chance to join in a wide range of activities including cultural and artistic activities.
